wow...if I have ever used the idiom "you have hit the nail on the head" before, I am taking it back, because your post spoke my mind completely. I think the show itself is ruined by the women dancing there and by Richie sitting on a chair. Otherwise, very powerful perfomrance from everyone including ALEC (whoever thinks Alec couldn't do it for BJ should watch this, he was ace and cool too watch as well, as opposed to "I-bore-the-heck-out-of-people" Hugh. I also like Richie's extremely long hair which looks perfect when he's headbanging and Tico's power-drumming.
Once again, great show but would've been better in a different setting, like say a bar or a club.

Yeah Alec is spot on the whole performance. Its one of the few shows i have while he was still in the band, and i've seen it so many times and I still dont see any of these mistakes that JBJ supposeadly says he fired him for. (KTF is flawless) And the guy oozes rock star appeal compared to the Hughbot.

And theres a classic shot near the end of With a little help.. where Tico gets his own mini drum solo, and the camera pans out and its just pretty darn cool.

Id love to see this on dvd, with all the little extra bits that are on the vhs (the in between black and white backstage footage) expanded upon.

This was my very first BJ video that I bought. I remember buying it at Hills (anyone remember Hills Dept. Store?)... Anyway I remember crying because my Mom wasn't going to let me buy it. She told me if there was any swearing in it it was going back.. Well she finally gave in and I got it and I watched it to death! I loved it then and still love it to this day. When I would get in trouble for fighting with my brother back in the day my mom would hide my video as my punishment LOL!

Jon's voice was just flawless in this....

I guess maybe they all looked old for their age but most of the women in that video are probably in their early 20's.

I remember Hills!
I had a similar experience. I was at the mall with my friend and saw the video. I absolutely had to have it, so I called my parents and made them send the money over with my older brother. He was really annoyed! Love, love, love it!
