So your posted opinions are not what you actually think?

They have to have growth to stay relevant and enrich their legacy. I think that's the way to go.

Replace "have to" with "should" if you like it better.
just wonder, u think TLFR was a sophisticated album?
I think it was a departure. A fun experiment for them to do. But no, I wouldn't call it a sophisticated album. I would call DA a sophisticated album before I call TLFR a sophisticated album.
perhaps but DA isnt a BJ album....

True, but a lot of Bon Jovi's songs come from the ideas that Jon has... I could see DA being a Bon Jovi album! :P

Funny, you think you know a person just by reading posts? Ok, tell me, which artists do I listen to the most?

As far as what my place is...remember yours before you point the finger, since it's your trademark to present yourself as an authority.
I don't tell anyone what to think. I don't say I'm better for liking something they don't.

You, however, think you're above the people who don't "understand" TD or your opinions about maturity and growth. You think YOU know what others think just by judging opinions on a messageboard. You tell people they're wrong for not liking something you do.

Ice
Taking everything to the next level, pure Ice.

I wouldn't propose to know what bands you listen to the most. I'd take a stab at KISS, just for the hell of it. I'm a lifelong KISS fan before Bon Jovi or Def Leppard. You and I are the ones offering up the answers for any KISS related questions that come up on this board. You told me yourself what you get out of Def Leppard on another post a couple of weeks ago.

While you're telling me to tell you where you said what....tell me where I say I'm better than anyone? Yeah, I took on a snotty tone. It's fun once in a while. It riles people up into a posting frenzy. I'll go as far as apologizing to Jag for my wording. No one's preferences are superior.

You know I have this feeling too. Although I got that only after watching TLFR DVD for the first time: performance + Q&A with the band.

Methinks they are finally ready to get lost in their music. I think they got their confidence back, confidence that they lost after NJ.

I don't know why but I've always had this feeling that KTF,TD,Bounce were records meant for the band to survive and not to "hit". Crush was meant to "make noise". Somehow I think their next record will be meant to simply "crush".

Of course, because it just isn't one man... Jon did things his way and only his way and of course.. We got a great album... But when you have 4 other people wanting different things... Music isn't going to turn out the way we expected ALL the time.
