I agree with this and it wouldn't surprise me at all would this be true. I'm not sure the feeling is mutual but he certainly seems to be "liking" her.

Looking at it froma business point of view; Richie needed a name to add to his band because he's clearly incapable of selling out anything anywhere, and added an Australian guitarist to his band, and it's a girl, so people just might go and check out one of their own.

And then there's Orianthi, already known among many musicians, and then gets exposure by playing shows at a festival in her home country, which might lead to more session work or live shows. I very much doubt they're playing together because of that insane chemistry he keeps talking about, because there's little of that whenever they're playing, apart from Richie drooling over anything blonde with a snatch.

Richie is 25 years older than Orianrhi. She is 29. He is twice her age.
