Ewww....I hate to even think this, but you said choose the crime we consider most heinous
 ............ and to me that's any type of crime against a child...like molestation. I wouldn't be swayed because of the fact he's Richie Sambora (or any of the other band members), but I would be so heartsick to learn that someone I've admired for so many years was in fact a sick puppy. I had been a bigtime OJ fan, but I believed the DNA evidence and believed he was guilty. It made me sad and sick inside. It would be the same thing in this case.
