Default What should they include in their Greatest Hits?

We all know about the hits album they've planning to release at least since 2007 and it looks to finally make it in 2010. There's a quote from wiki about what Jon had to say:
Quote:
Bon Jovi had planned to release a greatest hits album in 2009, but the project got sidelined after the group came up with enough material for a brand new studio album, Jon commenting that "the state of the world at this point in time gave us alot to write about". That doesn't mean the best-of set has been put on hold forever, Jon says "it will come out in 2010". Along with a few never-before-released songs, the compilation will also feature tracks not featured on Bon Jovi's 1994 Cross Road greatest hits. "It'll be a new greatest hits because the last one was 15 years ago in'94. So you had everything from These Days forward. And what is this my fifth album in this decade? So at least six studio records and a solo thing. And then I'm sure you'll still end up having to put 'Living On A Prayer' on it but there won't be 'Runaway' on it. It won't have the early early stuff because we'll have had more hits since then."
So what do you think they should and/or they're gonna include in the new Greatest Hits album?

I'm guessing:
Livin' On A Prayer
Wanted Dead Or Alive
Blood On Blood
Born To Be My Baby
These Days
This Ain't A Love Song
It's My Life
Thank You For Loving Me
Everyday
Have A Nice Day
Who Says You Can't Go Home (country duet version)
Lost Highway
Make A Memory
Hallelujah (if it's recorded as a studio track)
We Weren't Born To Follow
Superman Tonight
New track #1
New track #2

By that quote, I would conclude it would just be a 1 disc album, so realistically;

1. Bad Medicine
2. Hey God
3. It's My Life
4. Superman Tonight
5. Livin' On A Prayer
6. Everyday
7. This Ain't A Love Song
8. Something For The Pan
9. New Song
10. New Song
11. You Give Love A Bad Name
12. Who Says You Can't Go Home
13. Bed of Roses
14. Dry County
15. Always
16. Lost Highway
17. Whole Lot of Leaving
18. I'll Be There For You
19. Livin' in Sin
20. These Days

That was harder than I thought it was going to be.... and I forgot Wanted! Oh I don't know. They have too many hits for 1 cd. They should make it a double disc.

I never seen a greatest hits that actually contained all the hits of the artist/band and I don't think this one will be another story.

I salute you,

They should only include songs since These Days up to the Circle. Something like:

1. It's My Life
2. We Weren't Born To Follow
3. New Song 1
4. New Song 2
5. Who Says You Can't Go Home
6. One Wild Night 2001
7. Everyday
8. Make A Memory
9. Midnight In Chelsea
10. Wanted 2003
11. Have A Nice Day
12. This Ain't A Love Song
13. Lost Highway
14. These Days

Something like that.

The record company would never go for a "Greatest Hit's" CD that doesn't include their pre-These Days Material - personally feel they should have released it back in 2008 since they were busy plugging their existence as a band for 25 years, 1983-2008. I also don't feel there is any need for new songs on the Greatest Hits - i can't imagine them being anywhere near as good as the new songs presented on Crossroads.

If they were 2 release a CD of post Crossroads Material however...

1) It's My Life
2) Who Says You Can't Go Home
3) New Song
4) New Song
5) These Days
6) Just Older
7) Have A Nice Day
Thank You For Loving Me
9) The Radio Saved My Life Tonight
10) Something To Believe In
11) Make A Memory
12) We Weren't Born To Follow
13) Superman Tonight
14) This Ain't A Love Song
15) Lost Highway
16) Who Says You Can't Go Home (Country)

Ok - so i would scrap Lost Highway & the country version of WSYCH home but i know they'll end up on there - or course this isn't going 2 be a post-Crossroads greatest hits CD anyways so w/e. I have trouble bunching in songs from "These Days" as it were - it's from a different era.

Now that you brought that up, that sounds like a definite possibility. I'm curious to see if this happens.

I think Prayer, Bad Name, and Wanted will be the only ones from Cross Road to make it on this newer Greatest Hits. Then the newer hits, Hallelujah, and 2 new songs.

Default They should start from 2000 to this days.

I think that they should start from 2000, no more old material hits.

A Greatest Hits that didn't include any tracks from pre-TD would be a mistake. It would flop.

Pretty much 80% of the songs they released after These Days were a flop in my book.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I just looked up flop in the dictionary and one of the examples is Bon Jovi's "All About Loving You"
