Every post 2000 Album is TLFR version of what could have been an amazing album with higher vocals.

Bed Of Roses - TLFR is the worst song ever... Bed Of Roses - KTF is the best song ever. Now with this current album, Jon found a balance which really works for me but I know if pushed more, these songs could even be better...
yeah, vocals are crucial but just as much as the maturity of the lyrics and the skillfulness of the guitar players. everything just needs to go together but I do agree with you - Jon's voice is shot and whether they like it or not, the whole BJ music needs to adjust to that and thus, limit the limitless :/

Yep they need to and it's the first album where they actually (in my book) found a way to cope with the limited voice - at least in some spots. Living With The Ghost isn't great in terms of range, yet it's the first song since at least 10 years where Jon's vocal delivery gives me goosebumps.

I agree with this...

Everyone of us tries to prove that his/hers opinion is the right one, that our favourite/worst album should be everyone’s favourite/worst album, that our ‘dream set list’ is definitely everyone’s ‘dream set list’. But it turns out it is not. There seems to be as many truths as people on this board. Indeed it is really interesting to know how much our music tastes differ, but it only proves that not everything is black or white, especially in music. And all our posts lead me to one conclusion…There is no such thing as ‘good music’ or ‘crap music’, ‘good song/album’ or ‘bad song/album’. The reason is very simple. Music is not measurable. You can measure music only based on your feelings and emotions, which again are not measurable. And that’s it. Nothing more nothing less.

So the thing that is needed the most over here is respect and understanding, both for ourselves and for the band of course. There is no point in aggression and offending each other just because someone has a different opinion. And that happens too often over here as far as I have noticed. And the same goes about the respect and understanding for the band and everything they do. And since the band is here for over 26 years, objectively Jon is doing a great job in anything he does. There are 400 active members on this board and we have different opinions on various subjects. And Jon has to plan for example a set list for one show on the tour, which is roughly 20 000 people each night. He can’t fulfill wishes of 400 die-hards so how harder it is to fulfill wishes of 20 000 people at each show and about 2 million on each tour? Impossible. There will always be someone disappointed about the performance at the show or the songs on the new album. And that person has the right to feel like that, but that’s not the proof that the show or the album was terrible. After all even we – die-hards - do not speak with one voice.
Now lets leave fairytale world for a bit.

Any art has every right to be graded. I have a few friends who love Adam Sandler, and enjoy his recent work.

Movie critics say something different. And so do I.

Some people just are okay with shitty art. Some people would rather pintrest paint by numbers generic bullshit to a picasso.

Some people on this board are okay with shitty, passionless music, and even like it. Great for you, i'm glad you enjoy it. In fact, millions enjoy it. For some reason or another Drake is where he is. For some reason or another people like What About Now. Same thing in my eyes.

Whatever.

But don't go tell people that just because someone likes something, or a group of people like something, means its any good. Or tell people that "anything Jon does is good"
. thats bullshit.

Yes, it's still worth it because the thing is still relevant so it doesn't matter whether it was started a year ago or six.

As far as Kuba is concerned, I've come across a vid of his and it's pretty recent because it's from Dec 2015. I'm quite proud of him because I'm Polish as well. Look how far can the real passion lead you if you REALLY want it. I keep my fingers crossed for his dream to come true. I'd profit from that, too :P

Just have a look

Thanks for posting, I remember Kuba's story but didn't know this video.

He'd better contact a local promoter/concert organizer to have Richie come over to Gdansk, he would stand better chances at being heard.

I remember reading his story as well, a lot of struggling indeed but with some luck hope and faith he managed to do more than he'd expected anyway! Meeting Richie in person would be just cherry on top :P
