Marta Anna, Sami and Ang1e - thanks for such a warm response to my post. I am glad you like it. It's good to know there are at least 4 of us that think like that about the band and their hard work, so it’s not so bad. I was afraid I am the only one who thinks like that

And Sami, I will see the band live again. I’ve got the tickets for Paris show in June 2010 Again I will travel half of Europe, but who cares. It’s worth it. I can’t wait for that

Kuba,
Wonderful wonderful post. You have said exactly what I think about the board and gotten to the heart about why Bon Jovi is special.

Very, very good post Kuba ! This board are just full of people that is complaining and talking shit about the band no matter what they do ! Not many here actually appreciates the band as what they are doing now. Not many artist can write music as Bon Jovi now and put on a live show as Bon Jovi ! That's the truth !

yes! Since there are so many negative posts and so many complaining people this forum sometimes seems to be a kind of anti-forum. I think that all of us who have due respect for this great band, the band whose output made it a part of music history, all of us should join forces to promote our positive message. Let it be a counterbalance for all that complaining. How can anyone, who is not a musician or who is a musician but is noteven one tenth of that format that BJ is, criticize such a giant, such a top group?

Kuba, I am actually pretty moved by that.

I for one don't treat seeing the band like going to the cinema. I doubt even the people in the NYC area who get the biggest chances view it like that. But unlike you I have been fortunate enough to see them well over a dozen times. Each time for me has been a completely magical experience (and that includes the one gig where I will say they were pretty shit, but that's the only time they haven't blown me out of the water, and every band has a bad day now and then). I sometimes don't know what people expect on here. Some of the biggest complainers list Oasis as another favourite band - yet there's never been a more hit or miss band I've heard. At least Bon Jovi are always pretty consistent and have never walked out of a show.

I suppose for them it's like - they know the band can do better, because this band on it's game simply is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best live band in the world.

Thank you all for the support to my post. Just as I thought the group of true fans is large over here, only some of them are afraid to say it out loud. For those complainers I just would like to wish more positive thinking about band’s work and stop living in the 80’ or 90’. Just give them more understanding as they are ordinary people like we are that can have bad days from time to time. But anyway even their worst performances are way better than most artists in present music business can offer. So let’s make this board a place for fans that really support their idols and give them respect they truly deserve. And I wish this to us all for the new year 2010 as we are going to have a lot to talk about

****ing hell people, we don't hate the band. We're fans of them who've been dissapointed with what they've done recently. I'm not just gonna like an album because it's Bon Jovi; I'll like it because it's good, and Bon Jovi haven't made any records that sound good to me for a while. There are some good songs on The Circle but I don't think that it's a particularly strong album overall - and what's wrong with thinking that? If accepting loads of dross makes me not a true fan, then ****, I'm not a true fan in that case.

Crashed - In regards to Oasis, you're right in saying they can be very hit and miss. But Dig Out Your Soul and Don't Believe The Truth each had more life in them than Have A Nice Day, Lost Highway and The Circle put together. In their last few years, they made two albums that I think hang together very well, and, dare I say it, have a hint of artistry around them. And the last few gigs of the Dig Out Your Soul Tour were some of the best I've heard by them. Liam seems to care much more than Jon does.

See Ferret's post above because you are becoming just another dumbass who has posted this crap ever since the hype started with the new record, despite having it explained multiple times. I don't see why you don't understand that we wouldn't be here if we weren't fans.
