It is if your opinion is that TLFR is good and Bounce is the best Bon Jovi album.

Your opinions are stupid, yes.

Arrgghh. I typed up a big reply, but then it ****ed up!

Basicaly, in short. That's because they've gone downhill. They're not doing the best to their ability. They're trying to create another IML again and again. And millions of people still love Bon Jovi, but they're not doing anything new to be like "WOW!" over. That's the sad truth. IML doesn't even deserve the praise it gets, as a song. It deserves it because of the doors it opened, and the fact their probably wouldn't even be a BJ still if not for that song. Crush would have most probably made them history. But then on the other hand, what has that brought us? More songs that aren't nowhere near their best ability, because they're so concerned with carrying on appealing to that audience. I think they've lost their roots and it's sad. That's why they don't get as much credit. I'm sure if they came out with another kickass Rock album they would.

Exactly!
Very good point. All of that's true. It's IML that's keeping BJ going, but at the same time, there not doing anything as good as they should be doing.

We don't really need to tell him this stuff do we? Anybody can stick New Jersey or KTF or TD or Slippery on, then HAND and LH and TLFR and Bounce and Crush, and see where the masterpieces are. And see why they don't get as much praise. I mean really...come on. I do think people are too hard on them sometimes, for sure. But it's obvious where the true masterpieces are.

P.S. I kinda resent what IML done, lol. I think it's to blame. I think Crush was just a ... hiccup, and if IML hadn't been such a success they would have came back rockin', and eveything would be okay with the world.

I'm not having a go at him, i know he's entitled to his opinion, but i'm just expressing mine and probably 99.9% of peoples on the board aswell.

I just don't get how he couldn't agree, if he doesn't. To me it's like saying 2+2 = 4. (it does ya know!)

I'm not picking on him either, I really like him. I just get passionate sometimes when it comes to this. :P And I MISS the old Bon Jovi. Bring back my Bon Jovi!

I make it sound like I dislike all their new stuff...I don't dislike it all. It's just way below what they can do, and they're so concerned with the ****ing Pop 12-year-old audience. They don't worry about what the DIEHARDS want, and it gets me angry sometimes.

Oh God. I'm turning into a real Jovitalker now.

To be honest, one of the worst things about Bon Jovi is the kind of collection of songs on each of their albums.

Since 2000 their albums don't sound to me like proper rock albums, they just sound like pop Every track just has the same ****ing layout, you know. There's just nothing interesting about their albums anymore, like there used to be, they're just a collection of pop songs stuck together, with no flow.

I can't really say what I'm thinking for some reason, so I'll use an example:

These Days had songs like Letting You Go, My Guitar and Diamond Ring, which could never have been hit singles or anything, because they're not that kind of song. They're proper album tracks, great songs not caught up in the boring pop/rock big chorus style, that nearly EVERY song on LH seems to have. The songs since 2000 aren't proper musician's songs, with a couple of exceptions, it just seems like they're on the album so they can be (hopefully big) singles, or just there for the sake of it.

There, rant over. Hopefully someone understood my ramblings.

I'm talking less about what David has said. I'm just having a discussion about why they don't get as much praise. I don't care if he likes Bounce better, that's fine. It does however kinda stun me.
