Anyone here like me? More of a Sambora fan then a fan of BJ/JBJ?

This.

Richie lost a lot of fans acting the way he did. Fans who possibly preferred him over Jon in terms of likability.

I definitely found Richie easier to like during interviews. Jon sulking or being deadly serious/constantly frowning used to irritate.

I guess I am one of those fans. I'd rather listen to Aftermath than anything BJ has put out since These Days.

Aftermath is a cracking album, as are the other two. It's just a shame he seems to have forgotten that lately, as well as forgetting that he does in fact have plenty of fans who like those albums.

Default Richie first!

It's a long discussion for sure. For fans who love Richie's soulful playing, there is just no other substitute. I have gone from being a rabid bon jovi fan to avoiding any new BJ song with that clown on the guitar.
Richie forever! Eagerly waiting for his new material.
Here's a video I just uploaded with a poster of the man himself behind me:

Which clown are you writing off here? Phil, Bobby, Matt, Jon or Shanks?

I never found Jon to "sulk" in interviews. He's an introvert. I am too. I get it. I always found his personality and intelligence far more appealing than Richie's goofball stupidity in interviews. I'm not saying I think Richie lacks intelligence just that his goofiness was just as much of a turn off to me as Jon's taking things seriously was to others.

And I think that is what people here miss. They both were each other's counterpart. Jon was the serious one, more introvert, and Richie was the light hearted, funny goofy one, but he is also intelligent and talented. I think what happened was both personallities become too dominate, from both. Jon was not going to change and Richie wasn't neither. I still believe they both care and respect each other, but the working relationship probably ran its course.

Philex. I came to know today that Richie Sambora follows Philex on twitter.
