People just can't see past the grey hair. If his hair wasn't grey the thought wouldn't even have occured to them. Even if it was just shorter I expect.

Well, I actually think that his face has aged rather rapidly in the last 8 or 9 years and him having gotten quite skinny is what makes him look old.

And I don't think "he just looks his age". He's looked younger for most of his 40's, yes, but my parents and their friends are all pretty much Jon's age and nowadays he looks much more like my old uncle and his 70+ year old friends. So his 30-years-in-10 aging process is what throws people off, especially those who haven't really seen him in about a decade.

I agree. I just hope it's not health related. Physically he seems to be okay but who knows mentally. He seems super stressed all the time. Even his speech is slower.

His mind is still very sharp. He does have a brilliant mind which can definitely take a toll if it gets away.

Maybe the Richie thing did and still does beat him down... That was a divorce Jon didn't see coming and he probably takes a lot of responsibility for that failed friendship.

It has because he's always looked so much younger than he was. Now, in his face, just just looks like any other 58 year old to me. Take off the hair and he really doesn't look that bad. Like you say, people are just saying so because it's the first time they have seen him since his ageing...

He doesn't look anywhere near 70 plus, that's just ridiculous...

Thinny's got a good point. The amount of people that ask me if the band is still around....When you don't have a hit, videos aren't getting played and you're not seeing them live, odds are you haven't seen a picture of Jon in a good long while, you'd have no real reason to other than press here and there. It's gonna shock you when you compare him to how he used to look when they were on top.
