The Bon Jovi camp tried very hard (and succeeded) to pretend this didn't happen and the media didn't really care. Obie's excuse? He didn't know she was 15, she said she was older.

Yep, that happened.

It wasn't during the OWN tour. The girl lived near him and offense occurred in August 1999. He was sentenced in 2001.

Idiots on website newspaper that post an article in some clickbait style.

Theres a picture of a slight Jon wannabe lookalike. The title says "Singer of big hit dead, sang Its My Life" I clicked on the article and it was someone called Mark Hollis that died.

That news website is actually one of the most if not most popular ones here in Sweden.

Maybe research before bitching:
Mark Hollis was the singer of the band Talk Talk, a highly successful new wave band in the 80s. Their biggest hits were "Such A Shame" and "It's My Life".

Yeah, pay respect where it is due and don't blame others for your ignorance. Talk Talk were not an unknown band - you may also be familiar with No Doubt's cover of "their" It's My Life. (Just like Bon Jovi covered The Animal's It's My Life before...)

I wouldn't take it SOO seriously.

However, this is the German version: https://www.heute.at/szene/musik/sto...itter-55131857

That news website is in Sweden and has had some slight misleading style titles before.
I might have been wrong or something like that I don't know.

The title did not say any name and only included hit singer and IML, and some picture of someone (Mark Hollis) having almost slightly Jon hair, some sunglass.

The title could easily have been more respectful to Mark Hollis by adding his name, etc.

Other than that. Respect to Mark Hollis. Realized I heard one of their songs before.

Are you saying you thought they wanted to people to think that JBJ was the person who died?
I would take it even worse if they, in the link above, wanted make fun of his death remarking “It’s My Life” ("It's My Life" singer Mark Hollis is dead)
Either way would be horrible taste indeed...

I am absolutely sure they wanted to get more readers to the article by adding some kind of confusion, making some think it's Jon.

Edit: They have changed the title of that article to "Singer Mark Hollis dead at 64" (In Swedish obviously)

Good... I called someone to change that. (I’m kidding! -_-)

It's my opinion that Burning Bridges was the best bundle of songs to come from Bon Jovi post 2000, or essentially the best music since These Days (or even Destination Anywhere).

With the right mastering and proper release, those songs could have been something special instead of just labeled as "throwaways". With Jon's then vocal state and the absence of Richie, this album was the perfect blend of the Band with a mix of a Jon solo vibe...

The album definitely had that late 90's Jon Solo vibe to it. Songs like Teardrop To The Sea contained that smokin guitar sound that Bobby provided on It's Just Me. YouTube comments praise the song like it fell off of These Days. Who Would You Die For has a rasp and emotion from Jon that I think we'll never hear again.

What prompted me to write this was a fan video I saw the other day where he matched Who Would You Die up to video clips from DA. Its a perfect fit.
