- Bounce is a Tribute Band.
- The band members in Bounce are not nearly as professional sounding as the current Bon Jovi line up.
- I can sing better than Jon does today so comparing any singer to him is not really a valid argument.
If we compare the two in 1995 (which most agree was not Jon's vocal peak), Jon is a 1000 times better. Not just with notes but with everything listed in my prior posts... Jon roller coastered (no pun) from show to show in '95 but if you compared Jon's top ten vocals from that year to all of Ollis top vocals ever, Jon blows him out of the water... Jon's rasps, screams, jungle noises were off the charts... His tone was raw and he could hold notes like no other...There is a video on YouTube were someone compared him to Mariah Carey and a lot of that footage was from '95... So that's the level Jon should be compared at.
Olli is nothing more that just a very good amateur singer who likes to sing Bon Jovi songs... He's not even in the same league as Jon.
Take the fact that he sings Bon Jovi songs out of the equation and you just have a very good amateur singer... There are so many other better singers out there and he wouldn't even make it through the first round on any one of those singing competitions.
I'd even take Jon today over some tribute act like Bounce. There is nothing like seeing the person who wrote and recorded their own songs. There is a magic that just can't be duplicated...
