The last time I remember them announcing "something big" was on the BWC tour when Jon played a show with the Kings of Suburbia at what had been announced as a proper tour concert and pissed most of the fans off

However, because you still have two months left of your membership that will no longer be active, we wanted to give you exclusive access and 10% off to join The JBJ Experience for the next 24 hours before it's announced to the rest of the world!

Does it mean that every old memberships will expire in 2 months or what ?
Is that the "something big" that was going to give people the 24-hour exclusive access that Jon referred to???

This reads like the fanclub is about to be closed / change. Good fresh start with a broken promise / delayed announcement!

It feels like the announcement of the new fan club IS the big announcement. You can sign up before everyone else does. They came through on what they were promising it's just a shitty promise because there's zero urgency. If there was limited spots, sure but....

It looks like the announcement was that there's a new fan club, you can join it before it's publicly announced. The "something big" was a new fanclub run by the family again.

There is a box delivered each quarter. I wonder if it will contain unreleased music...

i'd doubt it, but if it did, I would imagine that it will only be from the last few of years.

Chances are that anything recorded between 83-2014/15 or whenever that deal came to an end is owned by Universal, so they can't just give that away for free. THINFS and 2020 era are licencing deals and therefore they have only licenced the tracks released to Universal, so they retain the rights to anything else.

It's also more difficult as anything featuring Alec or Richie could possibly need their permission. Def Leppard can do it much more easily because the line up hasn't changed for almost 30 years...

If anything it might be JBJ fan club shows at best, in my opinion.
