April 24 JBJ appearance

WELL, NEVER SAY that Katie Couric can't drag in the stars. April 24, aboard the Queen Mary 2, docked in New York Harbor, the "Today" show anchor will lure Jon Bon Jovi, Nathan Lane, Whoopi Goldberg, Peter Cincotti, Harry Connick Jr., Danny DeVito, Heather Headley, Christine Ebersole, Brian Stokes Mitchell and cast members of "The Sopranos." What for? "Some Enchanted Evening: A Tribute to the Music of Richard Rodgers."

This is the second annual "Hollywood Hits Broadway" event, and it benefits the Entertainment Industry Foundation's National Colorectal Cancer Research and the Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health. Katie has devoted considerable time to battle against colon cancer, since her husband Jay's death in 1998.
