I'm not because it was never mentioned. People were just presuming.

I think there was a balls up somewhere along the line, The X Factor people booked the band under the pretence that they would perform and mentor.

The Bon Jovi camp probably got wind of this and refused, leaving it too late for anyone else to filled the void.

Why else was it Rock week?

im getting worried now.i just seen the band perform we werent born to follow on japenese tv on youtube and they left out richies solo.they even left out the radio edit version of the solo.if they cut that on the x factor, which is the only decent part of the song, then it could give a totally wrong impression of the album.

Its's gonna be interesting to see how they perform tonight. Hopefully it will be fully live, but I have a feeling it will be Jon singing live over a backing tape

JBJ sang live wwbtf , wearing black , looked refreshed, seemed happy. After singing dermot mentioned they had just flown in from Japan... and new album released tomorrow. Dermot then asked JBJ if he could hi five Richie, Jon said yes.... LOL .... so Dermot did...it has always been his dream lol

Only thing I didnt like was the swirling black tunnel background...felt like a bad 70s advery and took me ages to spot David...

It was the same. No solo and Jon singing over a backing-track. It wouldn't have really sold the song to anyone!

I enjoyed the performance. I don't know if it was just because the Giants Stadium Parking Lot performance was bad or what but I don't think Jon sounded too bad TBH. Was gutted there was no solo but judging on peoples facebook statuses, they seemed to enjoy it
