Playing the guitar for a year now, would hardly say im good.

I must say that I am impressed !!! 66% who answered can play music !! This is IMO the best news of the day ... LOL not that not being able to play music is bad (I cannot and I don't feel like I am bad I am still able to enjoy music ) but it brings quality to the disucssion about the band for sureto be able to talk about the music ... and I am also relieved to see that BON JOVI is a band who seduce musicians too ...I like the way Seb replied that eventhough he is a musician his way of listening music is emotional ...I think I learned a lot of good news thank you all ...

I like the corrs, i want to disagree with you on your comment that they are losers. i think it's creative how they combine irish folk music with rock and pop music. If you're saying that they are losers because they make music with their family members then...hmm...are you saying that the beach boys and jet are losers too?

I so wouldn’t join a band if the guy forming it refused to tell me what instrument he played. That would just be stupid.

No, I actually have each of their address books in my possession just now and, let me tell you, every single page is blank… it’s a sorry state as the majority of them are quite fit too.

Maybe the Corrs was a bad call… but for every success story there are a plethora of irritating pub and club musicians with such a massively inflated ego that they can only keep a band going through family connections. That way they know that if they can keep a weaker sibling in line they can usually maintain an artistic control over where the whole outfit is going.

They really are the scum of the live music circuit.
