I wasn't really a Bon Jovi fan before Crush, but I can tell you that Kazaa didn't exist then. It was mainly Napster and Audio Galaxy that were the forefront of MP3s. I'm sure there was lots of speculation on these boards, and Crush was bound to be on the MP3 search engines a month or so before it's official release.
