I'm sure that there are a lot of very annoyed fans out there sticking pins in dolls putting voodoo curses on the writer of this article...but there really isn't any point, is there? After all, if your a true fan, what the hell do you care what someone thinks? Sadly though, some of it is in fact very acurate. The stuff about control of image is bang on the money. Jon does have a zealous need to make the band squeaky clean, all well and good, but I think it's gone too far. Sacking Ross Halfin wasn't a smart move either. It's also fairly beyond doubt that Jon writes better with a partner. I disagree with the writer, as I don't think that means Jon is a bad writer, just that when he has someone to exchange ideas with, his output is much stronger.

Oh, and finally, Jon's voice has suffered over the years, and isn't as good as it was...that's true. And he IS a cock for taking up smoking at 37....not cool, not stylish...just dumb.
