Hair transplants move your own hair follicles from the back of your head to the top of your head, so it is
his hair. He isn't wearing a wig. Also, if you are going bald, you'll need three or four transplants to get any reasonable coverage. If he's had one - which he most certainly has - then he has probably had more.
