Because Axl is an asshole and made it into one.

Axl just really wanted to get to headline Bamboozle and show up 2 hours late for his own set.

Guns 'n' Roses were on the track to be one of the biggest bands EVER. It truly is a shame what happened to them. Axl should've thrown in the towel 15 years ago.

That's why Axl is so jealous. Bon Jovi IS one of the biggest bands ever.

Just got back form seeing Guns n Roses in Seattle. They play for 3 hrs and Axl is running around stage, unlike someone else who uses his guitar as a prop. Axl also plays 6 songs from Chinese Democracy. Do you think Jon would have the balls to play 6 songs from "These Days" every night? I've been to lots of Jovi shows, but the recent GNR tour is way better than Jovi.

Bullshit thread. Honestly, I was blown away when I saw GNR in Arnhem last year, very tight band and Axl sounded excellent.

I thought they blew Jovi out of the water in 2010. I'd love to see GNR anytime soon again - especially since they started to play Civil War and Estranged again.

1.Why would he? These Days isn't their most current album.
2.Jon doesn't leave the stage EVERY song to pump himself full of oxygen.
3.They play for 3 hours, and Axl's on stage for 2 of them.
4.The band is so damn loud you can barely hear Axl's vocals.
5.What good is playing for 3 hours if you only play 20 songs? Does anyone give a shit about hearing 3 different 10 minute guitar solos?

I agree on the parts 1,2,3. Loud is good - and I don't think they are too loud, their mix is quite well.

About 5, this is their latest setlist from 2 nights ago and I count a lot more songs than the 20 you mentioned. Get the facts straight before you start posting bullshit.

Guns is a great show, but after the first hour the show just drags on forever! It's really great for the band to have the solos and all but, that is just too much what they have going on. It's just too many members!!! lol
