Default Axl Rose Is A Dick

As I was listening to Guns N' Roses on the "Arena Rock" channel on my T.V.... I saw a random piece of information that made me crack up. Ok, here it goes...

Axl Rose was once arrested after he punched a man who allegedly called him a "Bon Jovi look-alike.."

hahahahahahahahaha, I never knew that! The only thing I knew of was when he said "**** Bon Jovi" during one of their shows. Axl is an asshole.

He Tried to throw a chair in the guy ...

IMO Axl Rose is everything but a singer. An italian rock television is broadcasting these Christmas days the video of GNR concert at Ritz in New York City (198. Back in early nineties I used to listen to the bootleg of that gig about a million of times...I was a real GNR fan.
Listen to it now I can't understand why...
He's a very good lyric writer and frontman but he's not a singer.

Axl didn't hit the high notes anymore while GNR was only 5 years there. Nobody ever complained about that . Yeah, you can say he tries, but singing until you cough up your lungs only makes your voice worse.

Axl also said: "Bon Jovi can suck my dick."

Aloha !

It's funny that you're all putting Axl down for this statement while nobody has ever heard him say in the right context. I've got the bootleg from that show and it was nothing but a simple joke. Nothing more and nothing less, and it wasn't even meant to put Bon Jovi down.

Later on they asked Axl about his real opinion about Bon Jovi, and he said their music was alright, but not something he particulary liked.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Which are you talking about? We are talking about a bunch of different stories. I think you are talking about the one where he says "Bon Jovi can suck my dick". If that's the case, then no... I haven't heard the bootleg, just the clip.

In reality you can say the same thing about Jon. Listen to some bootlegs during the late 80's and you will see that his voice was shot too. It doesn't mean that Jon or Axl aren't singers, it just means that both overdid it, and obviously it started to effect their performances. Considering how much both bands were touring, it isn't too shocking that it took such a toll on their voices.

The only bad blood was between GNR and Nirvana.
