I want a wrist band to get into the pit and am willing to pay $40 for it.
To me, the rest of the stuff they have is crap. Including the message board.
So thats what, £20 - £25? Hmmmmm, guess I'll think about it. You don't even get a newsletter anymore do you?

Nope nothing in the post, just your membership card....which is just good for the HAND tour by the way.
They used to have a list of things you get when joining but I cant find it. At the moment theres only the message board and a merchandise site - where you can buy the membership.

Yes Saz the backstage fan club will have FC tickets available for shows but I don't know yet what the system is going to be. In the past FC tickets were sold on a special day at the venue you had to go to the venue on this day have a fc card etc.. You could only buy I ticket per card, so unless you lived in a city where a venue was or close by fc tickets rarely help you out. Now FC tickets are something different than Pre-sales which are more open and can be done online usually.

Isnt that for americans only?
As far as I know its done different in Europe...well in Ireland last time it was. You buy your ticket as normal. I bought mine from ticketmaster the day they went on sale.
Fan club members do have a special entrance on the day of the concert where you show your membership card (which wasnt looked at in Dublin ) and get your wristbands.

I don't think I'll buy membership for the Fan Club. If I can afford to go to a gig, then I'll just try and buy online

Yes the way I described it is how FC tickets are handled in the US. I never tried for fc seats in Europe just bought tickets and went.
