it would make more sense to be f-f-f-f, as what would it be otherwise....

It could otherwise be that they just left out the word. I'm simply interested in knowing what people are hearing for the stuttering sound. I don't think anyone thinks give a "buck" was the implication. We all know good and well what they intended! LOL However, I don't hear "f"; I hear "b" and I just wondered if other people heard "b" as well. I know the official answer, but that doesn't make me hear the "f" sound. At least I know I'm not the only one who hears "b." This isn't intended to be a debate, just a tally of auditory perception.

Live, I'm not sure if Jon is even saying "ffff" or "bbbb". On the NFL kickoff concert, it looks like his mouth is closed and the sound is coming from an instrument. JMHO.

yeah, if you don`t hear it on the album you should realy hear it on the "SBE" webcast...

While watching the SB concert on the big screen at my local cinema I had a real close up of Jon when he was singing it certainly look more like f f f f f and it sounds like f f f f f f. But either way its one dam good song. At at the moment im doing exactly that (Bouncing) coz I just got some rather good news. BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE

For those of you in the UK that taped the Live in New York Concert last saturday have another look! He definately says fffff (teeth over bottom lip ) dunno if you can tell on the online version of SB.
