Backstage Membership...help!

hi all!

firstly, i'd like to just say that Bounce rocks and GO GUYS FOR GETTING NO. 5 WITH HARDLY ANY AIRPLAY HERE IN THE UK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now...

i sent away the application form for backstage a good 2 months ago and yet i've had no word back from them...is this normally how long it takes? only they said 4 - 6 weeks?

Also, if there is a problem, should i email them or something or just be patient cos i really wanna join but can't yet!

You'll get your membership card with the next magazine that should come soon. Don't worry, that's how it usually works.

I just joined and mine took at least 7 weeks just to go through on the credit card let alone actually receive anything. I had a similar dilemma to you coz i was beginning to think it had got lost in the post!!! However, i was glad i hadn't wasted my and their time by trying to contact them because about a week later, my membership card arrived with a letter, postcard and OWN guitar pic. So, in my experience (v. limited but also very recent) you don't have to wait until newsletter time, but it does take a long time so you need to be patient (especially coz they are completely flooded with applications with a tour coming up).

thanks for the advice, i guess i'll wait a few more weeks (otherwise i will start to worry in case it doesn't come before the tour - so exciting!!!).
