Exactly what I thought!! Shame that the content was still the same though

I am completely pi**ed off with backstage and their attitude!

Melissa was doing a great job..better than some, *will mention no names* and up till last friday was still setting up the stats page in the chatroom..then........BANG........GONE......NEVER TO BE DISCUSSED AGAIN OR ELSE!!

I posted a message there asking a perfectly reasonable question about the stats page, and who will manage it now, and it got deleted! wtf was that about !?*!!

Someone from here left a post, asking Mel to come here and tell us HER side of the story, i hope she does, as a lot of people miss her, and still support her.

Im VERY jaded with the place, i think i will be HERE a lot more often
from now on ! (at least the natives are friendly!!!!)

I don't know if Melissa will come here to talk about this, but I posted a couple of questions asking about her being banned, and they got wiped. I also sent a Private Message to the admin asking why and asking that they revoke the ban. I got no reply. The only thing the admin has done is post that stuff about closing the thread cos posting messages from or about Melissa is "in poor taste" and saying since she can't come on the site, she can't defend herself! Didn't see anyone posting anything other than why the ban and nice stuff, so why would she need to defend herself? I hope she does come and post here, she's okay by me

I can't say that I blame you. As a mod also, I can't imagine banning someone and not offering an explanation, especially when so many have requested one. Sweeping things under the rug won't make it go away. It just makes people more angry as you can see.

I'm sure if Mel wants to let people know what's happened she will. Having said that though on Backstage I've known people to not even get told when they get banned, so maybe Mel is as clueless as the rest of you .....

Whichever way, I find it odd that so many of the people who claim to hate backstagers are so interested in Mel's banning. Do you really care why she was banned, or is it people just want the gossip? I personally fear its the latter, which to be honest, is pretty sad

If this comment doesn't apply to you then there's no need for you to respond. I was directing this at the people who outwardly claim on this board to hate Backstage and all the users. I thought that was obvious.

Oh and there's no bubble bursting here - you're concerned, good for you, but I'm sure Mel will be just fine

I think it is just the fact that this can't be discussed at Backstage because it will be deleted. If that wasn't the case, it wouldn't spill over on to other boards.

That´s not really a new chatroom... that´s the webpage for #bonjovi channel on undernet (mirc) and mel´s been running it for years
