I love how Choc has turned the debate over at BS about JT, into a discussion about "housewifes listening to Bon Jovi all Day"

I think maybe some of you are missing some points when it comes to backstage.
1) It is the official fan club board which to me means it is going to promote the band, not be full of threads that tear them up.
2) the fan club is overseen by JBJ"S mom, a very nice older lady and many people over there are very protective of her feelings. She reads the boards alot and she is from a generation where "bad language" and slang terms just are not exceptable.
3) the decision over there is that it is an all age board, meaning that there are children that log on there, therefore the content needs to be clean. My ten year old niece logs on to that board, I wouldn't let her log on over here, not because i find it unnacceptable, but simply because it's not age appropriate for her.
4) It is a good place for info. There are some folks over there who keep very close track of whatever is going on in Jovi-land and who very nicely share said info.
5) Both boards have their share of nonsense, "piercing nipples" comes to mind.
6) At the end of the day both boards contain the same thing, Bon Jovi fans. Different people express things in different ways, neither is wrong. A little tolerance on both sides is called for IMO.

Really, I have no opinion of Backstage because I never go there. Let them do what they want. We shouldn't be attacking them and they shouldn't be attacking us. Can't we just live in peace?

which means: everyone is a fan for one reason or another. some like seeing his d1ck in tight jeans some just love the music.


I never could figure out whats the thrill of non-musical aspect of blind admiration. backstagers love buttkissing & cool clothes while jovitalkers prefer the music. dunno bout rest of the pack reading this but Im not in for them both ways

I am a member of backstage. I am a fan of the music. Yes, I make comments about Jon's ass, but I would make comments about any man's ass that looked good. That doesn't mean I am all about kissing ass and trying to get his attention. To be honest with you, I don't think I would want to meet him. I would rather have my own idea of Jon than to meet the real thing and perhaps feel disappointed. I love the music. The music is what got me hooked and keeps me hooked. When I go to concerts, I go for the music. And let me just add that I haven't been to a Bon Jovi concert in quite awhile. As far as everything being all about I love Jon etc...I think he sucked in Vampires Los Muertos and have said so publicly. He is a MAN...HUMAN...He eats, shits, and sleeps just like the rest of us. He is not God and I don't see the need to worship him or pretend that he is perfect. Yes, the band has amazing talent and their music has always been a big part of my life, but not to the extint I am obssessed. Some fans actually scare me the way they act over the band. They make me think of Fatal Attraction....Anyway, there are some very nice people on Backstage and not all of us believe Jon can do no wrong. We are a group of people who came together because of our love for Bon Jovi's music. Same as here. Same as bonjovi.com. Some people just take it a little further than others.

Ummm....I can be an airhead sometimes, so can you explain why? LOL

whether swearing is permitted or not is not religious based, if it is offensive then it is offensive , swearing isnt religious related, its swearing in any language or religion.

I have actually never supported other forums, I was here when we only had one forum and I was very happy with that.

It is not just Bert and Ernie showing their penis , they are clearly in sexual buggery position , this therefore makes it pornography, but u r clearly aware of this which is why you have posted it, to just boringly purely for another yawning reaction.
