Actually, swearing is based on religion, it was a way to summon the "bad forces" to help you. Swearing is only offensive to religious people.

Two toys can not be pornographic. It's all in your mind. Toys don't have penises, nor do they have sex.

Well, Supersonic Backstage Killer!! Just going off the subject here, but your signature of those puppets bumming each other is bleedin' disgusting, not at all funny! You are helping to lower the tone of this site! You are bringing the site down, is that what you want? You know, there are young kids that come on here too! but do you care? NAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Oh and Backstage killer? Change your name, it sort of sounds like you might be trying to cause a little, oh what is the word, trouble? R U sure you really are a Bon jovi fan? After all, Backstage is Jon's Mommy's site!

Don't you love how all the backstagers are coming here now to insult Seb, lol

As Backstage is "Jon's Mommy's site" that is why no good opinions can be voiced there, so anything slightly negative would probably not go down too well.

As for the signature, yet again it is toys, any child too young to know about sex should not visit the Internet unsupervised for that reason, and if they did see it, not knowing about sex, they wouldn't understand it.

I'm sorry to the ones who find Bert offensive, but I think it's freaking hillarious...I mean, I am a grown woman, I have seen much worse. As for kids being on this board, that's for their parents to worry about. If they are too young to be seeing things like that, then they shouldn't be allowed free access to the internet to begin with. I monitor what my daughter goes to online and there are programs such as Net Nanny. There are certain kid safe sites that are rated as such and this is not one of them. And having been a kid once I can honestly say, I saw worse as a kid, too. And there was no such thing as the internet.

That is what I've been thinking all along. What kind of kids come here anyway and WHY? I don't think any messageboard of this nature is kid-appropriate and it is NOT due to the swearing or toys with penises.

In fact, I am a LOT more worried about the constant bombardment of violence than the sight of a penis or nipple that kids have to endure - but I do realize I am in the minority about this (in the US anyways).........

Where did you get this from? I know many people who are not Christians or are not religious in any way that find swearing offensive. It depends on the person and their morals, not on their religion.

Seb's picture has been made to portray a sexual act. You can clearly see that Bert has a penis and that they are sexually engaged. How can you say it is all in a person's mind to find this pornographic, which is sexual in nature? You can physically see with your own eyes what is going on in the pic. They are not real people, but this pic represents a sexual act between two people. What then do you call cartoons that show sexual acts? The cartoons symbolize and represent real people and real situations.

Personally, I am not offended. I find it quite funny even though I find it pornographic. You have to respect other people's views and realize the fact that people are different and have their own opinions and values. Something you may find amusing and funny may not be the same for someone else. That doesn't make anyone better than the other.

If you really find that offensive, then how about stud farms for horses? What about dog breeders? This is just puppets...geeze....
People get so hung up on sex and genitals being dirty it's a wonder they ever have children...Even Barbie has an ass crack...Geeze...

If those two puppets in Backstage killer's signature were alive and breathing they would not be able to have kids! Or had you not noticed they are both males with erect penises bumming each other? I find it dirty, disscusting and an insult to man. It should not be on this board, remember, there are young Bon Jovi fans who surf the net for Bon Jovi post boards and their parents don't expect to see this kind of thing on there, unless it's 'that kind of site' ... PORN! Point put across, end of story.

I didn't say _all_ religious people are offended by it, but that the reason some pepole get offended by swearing is the result of religion. Religion is what decided that certain words used by the people were "bad". All the "morals" about it that we have are pretty much force fed through religions everywhere.

Because it's not a sexual act. There's two puppets in that picture. Puppets don't have sex. Puppets don't have sexual relations with each other, it's impossible. If you seem something like that in that image, it's because you want to see it. It's in your imagination. Pornography depicts humans with other humans (or animals, but that's illegal in most countries) having sex. Not two toys crawling.

A cartoon is a cartoon. Puppets are puppets. The only reason cartoons and puppets work is because of your imagination. You think what you want to see and see it.

Why is it then that "the others" don't have to respect Seb's opinions or hs values?

No, but Dawn doesn't respect the wishes of others. She kept her signature even though multiple people told her they found it offensive. Why should Seb do what she didn't?
