Yep Becky you are right, with him it's definitely all about approach, he tends to be much better when it's just one on one versus a lot of fans crowding around him.

Yeah, he's said so in pretty much every interview he did in the spring of 2000 while promoting U-571 and in a few prior to that.

I heard "bad" stories but you never know how the fans acted toward the band member or if they got disturbed in a situation where they should have been left alone. You only read one side of the story. I personally never had really bad experiences. Of course not every time they are in the mood for fans but I can accept a "no" without getting pissed. They never were rude.
