Default ballads on bounce - my review

Hey,

First of all i like bounce... but it's not the great album as i expected because of the ballads
All about loving you - right side from wrong - you had me from hello - open all night could be replaced by finished version of the b-sides we've heard, than it would be the great album i expected.

Just imagine;

1 Undivided
2 Everyday
3 The distance
4 Hey Joey
5 Misunderstood
6 Another reason to believe
7 Hook me up
8 Standing
9 Love me back to life
10 We can dance / Breathe
11 Bounce
12 No regrets

IMO this would be the perfect album.

sorry, i don't agree. the ballads they chose for the album are much better than the b-sides. The album ballads are typical Bon Jovi power ballads that are catchy and have radio potential. The b-sides don't.

Typical Bon Jovi power ballads? NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!
A typical BJ power ballad is a song like I'LL be there for you, Living in sin, Silent Night, bed of roses. Not these boring stuff like Open all night, you hab me from hello or all about loving you. The only ballad that could get this credit is Love me back to life wich is really great.

Is this important?????? Avril Lavignes Complicated is even catchy and have radio potential but it's ****ing shit and not more. All the B-sides Crash wants to see on the record are perfect songs.

The only song that should be replaced is All about loving you because it's the typical Bon Jovi ballad that I'm getting tired of because it doesn't show any progress in their writing. The rest of the songs do. Kick this ballad and put Another reason to believe there and it would be the perfect album. Actually it is perfect already but it would be just a little more perfect.

I agree with stranger... i'll be there for you, bed of roses are typical bon jovi ballads.. they have some kinda power in it that these ballads dont have. Same with TYFLM. The album with 4-5 radio friendly songs is enough i think.
But that is my opinion and that is yours .. that's ok

I like Standing I dont know why that song didn't make the record.
except for the fact that it sounds a bit too much like that Lenny Kravitz song 'Dig in'

IMO, the weaker ballads on this album are Open All Night and You Had Me From Hello. The others are fine.

Perhaps Another Reason To Believe and We Can Dance could've replaced the two I just mentioned.

I'm not a fan of open all nite, but i will get use to it eventually. i thought Joey was really dull but slowly i am getting use to it. the same happened to me with wild is the wind, tokyo road, fear, bleeding guitar, and save the world.
