Well, it's all down to personal opinion isn't it?? I like their ballads, but that doesn't necessarily make them good or bad or make me a better fan. I think being a fan of a band also lets you decide what you like. I don't think it is entirely right to compare a band to another one. Each band has a distinct sound and way. You like GnR's ballads, fine, there are enough people who think they are terrible.. hence the opinions differ bit. Fine to criticise, but be careful in making your statements like they carved in stone.. it is your opinion. Glad you have one!!

two points:

The distance is a fuc king great song. I didnt like it until I heard it live properly. I fell in love with it and is now by far one of my fave songs on Bounce. Its going to be a classic.

Thank you for loving me is probably one of the biggest ballads on Crush. I dont know how people can say its not a ballad. Its a slow, love song. How cna you say its not one?

When I saw 'em at Hyde Park the only crap bit was when they played The Distance(Im glad they played it though as it gave me time to rest my voice and stop jumping, cos it sucks so much) And Twist N' Shout and NSG blew aswell. but The Distance sucked more

I didn't ment with my post that you can't love the others songs you named ... I just don't understand how come someone who just joined the board almost immediately start with calling all the ballads crap ... Thats what I mean

There are other ways to make an impact. This way doesn't really seem to be working as you appear to be on purpose antagonistic to everyone, just my opinion!
