That is a fact - only when something like this happens do people even notice flying accidents. Car crashes are in the paper daily.

wow. Hamilton. HAMILTON.
Pearson just upped their landing fee, so no doubt flying into Hamilton is a way avoid that charge.

Great, saved $250 on the landing fee, and did $175,000 in damage to the jet. Never mind jeopardizing the life of the passengers and a band that will generate close to $100 million on the U.S. Tour leg alone.

Typical promoter/agent thinking.

Yeah, I was thinking along the same lines, RockMusic. As my dad so equolently put it this morning, "Bon Jovi almost did a Buddy Holly." I'm assuming there will be some sort of investigation into this. I know the article cited severe weather conditions, but we didn't get freezing rain until 6 this morning. When I went out to pick my brother up at midnight, it was just raining, but definitely not severe.

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Seriously... do they really need to save $.... what's $250 bucks to them anyway.. Good God it's not like the band or promoter is in debt on this tour

I haven't flown often, but when I do, I make sure to take a couple of Gravol, even though I don't get motion sickness. For whatever reason, the stuff knocks me out. When I flew home from Europe, I remember getting on the plane and waking up somewhere over the Atlantic, halfway through the first movie.

You know, if they were playing in the South where we don't have snow in January, they wouldn't have to worry about this kind of thing.

Seriously, I'm glad they're all okay. I'd rather fly than drive. It is safer, not to mention more convenient!

must have been frightening for them, glad everyone is ok. Im presuming it skidded off because of ice/snow ? Dont they take this into account when planes are landing adn clear the runway ?

Glad that everybody's ok. Makes you realize, life is short and should never be taken for granted. Live life to the fullest. Play In These Arms in all your concerts.
