In the front row you really can't drink beer. And the front row is the only place to be. Also, if you're at the front the banners don't bother you. And the only way to use banners is when you're in the front row, you hang them on the railing. Never block anybodys view.

lol if the banners were ONLY front row it would be very very banner empty mood ... think about a stadium ppl far away will want their huge banner to say HI WE ARE HERE to the guys .. it's not just a privilege for the front row ppl BUT I agree those ones are the best ones .. they don't bother anyone are seen easily by the band and mark each fan or group of fan territory LOL (haven't you seen those who look at you with killer eyes if you touch their banner ... move move you are IN my section ... LOL I am here this is MY BANNER and the ground here is mine.... LOL

3/4 of the married fans would leave their husband to run away with Jon. The banner is kind of a propose .

Some of the banners on the Bounce tour were really cringeworthy, some make me laugh though and are quite clever. I dont ever see myself taking one to a concert though.

I've never made a banner... but for the Manchester show on the last tour I was thinking of making one saying "Jon - can you bend it like Beckham?"!

I could've kicked myself afterwards when he actually said it at the show!

I made a huge banner for Hyde Park, with Dry County on one side and Wild Is The Wind on the other ... only had the balls to hold it up for about 3 seconds though. You can kinda see it on the footage on the TLFR DVD, right at the beginning of Blood On Blood it's this long white strip towards the right of the audience....

Chris, shut up! That is complete nonesence. You only ever talk nonesence! What is your problem about a few people having a drink or two. They are not getting smashed off their faces or making a nusence of themselves, so they are not doing any harm. Fans can still listen and enjoy a band/artist if they have a beer you know. I do not see where you are coming from at all with those comments. Get a grip of yourself, woman!

As far as banners are concerned, I quite like them. Ok, the 'Sexy Jon' ones are pretty pathetic as Jon is already fully aware that many females think that he is good lucking, so theyre pretty pointless really. Song requests on the other hand are pretty good. For example if there are a few members of the crowd who hang a banner over the railing which says 'Please play Dry County' then there is a fairly decent chance that it will get played. It wont necessarily get played, but I think there is MORE of a chance. Banners are cool, some say the funniest things. They do'nt do anyone any harm. They are all for a bit of fun at the end of the day. Jon laughs at some and the designer has fun creating them. All good I say!

All the drunk people I met at a concert were annoying and didn't have any grip on themselves. Thinking it's funny to scream when you're supposed to keep your mouth shut. Bastards.

Salaam Aleikum,
