Some people become very much a nuisance when they're drinking. At Foxboro in '03, there were two girls in the middle of our row who kept walking back and forth in front of us to make about 19 trips to buy beer. I finally asked them if they wanted to switch since I had a aisle seat. After the 5th time even a polite "excuse me" isn't cutting it when they keep bothering you during the show. I like to get lost in the music and it's hard to do that when someone is asking you to move over and over again. I guess that's one of the few advantages of general admission. They wouldn't have been able to come back to their place over and over again if it had been GA.

Sober people do that too...

The good thing about going in the pit is you dont get drunks in there, theyre all too worried about their positions in the crowd to be going to the bar every 2 mins.

I don't see anything wrong with having a couple of beers but if the point of being there seems to be more about drinking than watching the show I fail to see why anyone would spend the money. It is annoying when someone keeps going back and forth in front of you and you are trying to enjoy the show. I've been to alot of concerts and seen people just stumbling drunk or out of their heads high and I don't get it. You spend 100 bucks to go see an artist and then get so intoxicated you don't remember it??? Damn, I thought that went out in the late 70's, early 80's. Back then you could almost justify it , tickets were like 20 dollars. to each their own i guess, but for the cost of a show today, I damn sure want to remember what i saw.

very true.

Over here, they don't allow drinks in the pit or seats, so if you must drink during the show you'll have to go outside and stay there until you are done. Hold it, the Joe Cocker concert allowed drinks in the seats - but people didn't go back and forth, they just brought their drink and when it was done it was done, but that was a very small venue, so rules might be a bit different. The big arenas do not let you take your drinks inside.

Chris, shut up! That is complete nonesence. You only ever talk nonesence! What is your problem about a few people having a drink or two. They are not getting smashed off their faces or making a nusence of themselves, so they are not doing any harm. Fans can still listen and enjoy a band/artist if they have a beer you know. I do not see where you are coming from at all with those comments. Get a grip of yourself, woman!
Wow Kev! I've never read you talk like that I totally agree on the alcohol issue though.

Personally, I find banners way stupid and soooooo 'teenageish'

Do you know what really annoys me? Ridiculously tall people who go to concerts. Everyone behind them can't see a thing! They should be banned....

She's been sort of missing lately anyway, hasn't she?
