Post Best Bon Jovi album from the 80's and 90's

With a maximum of 10 options I choose to concentrate on the 80's and 90's and make a poll that also adds the solo abums from this era. Its possible to vote for more than one album. My votes go to:

- New Jersey
- Stranger In This Town

I've thought about this countless times over the years and the answer used to change a lot when I was younger but man, it's gotta be Keep The Faith. The guitar work is just incredibly well-crafted, the songs are so powerful and they all hit your ears like a hammer. The sound is still incredibly fresh and it's a hell of a way for the band to reinvent themselves; they tried the same move several times after that but imo they never truly succeeded like they did on this record. My 2nd vote goes to New Jersey, the songs are simply timeless.

Question

It's a tough one for me. New Jersey, These Days and Stranger are all my favourite albums, closely followed by Blaze. I'm not sure how I can choose just one...

Edit: Oh I just realised i can vote for more than one, so those 3 it is...

I agree Keep the Faith is pretty good, but there are some songs on the second half I dont like. New Jersey is a killer from beginning to end.

From the solo stuff Stranger In This Town is the best. The only track I tend to skip is River Of Love, its too sterile, but the others are top notch. This live version of River Of Love rocks though.

ITA about ROL. Song did nothing for me until I saw it live, i think it’s the San Diego show bootleg version that I like the best.

Whats ITA?

The San Diego version rocks too, I like the talkbox intro.

Slippery made them huge (probably the largest band/act in the world at the moment), New Jersey is brilliant and polished rock record of late 80's, but KTF was what made them endure. Not only internationally, but in the US. If KTD was a dud, they wouldn't stand a chance against grunge.

But with 5 or 6 brilliant songs (and singles), it was just enough to keep them relevant until Always gave it another boost. But internationally and in legacy terms today, KTF (with of course TD) is what cemented them as iconic stadium rock band of all times.

EDIT: Just to add, among my friends and in my local town where I grew up, there is a small cult following of Fahrenheit album. My old friends, all that grew up on heavy and trash metal, they adore that album. I guess it's their way of saying all right, Jovi is not our cup of tea, but they are cool due to this album. So it is their excuse to say they like Jovi's ballads and hits too I guess, cause they know them word for word. At least it was my rationalization. But still, Fahrenheit gets some obvious sing alongs in that crowd (Tokyo Road, Only Lonely, surprisingly King of the Mountain and especially Price of Love and Hardest Part is the Night).

Fahrenheit through KTF is brilliant, but New Jersey is the best. Stranger and KTF are also really good. Slippery had the hits plus a couple of nice album tracks, but it's just so important it can't be denied, and are those hits ever huge.

So I picked NJ, Stranger, KTF and Slippery.

I’m sorry, abbreviation for ‘I totally agree.’

Nice to read this album still has a following. It could have been a killer record with a more live production. I always prefer to listen to the Live in Tokyo 1985 versions, there is so much energy in these songs. Also the demo's on the Backstage site sound "better" if you know what I mean. More raw and vivid. Something like "To The Fire" has got much more drive on the demoversions.

And "Running For My Life" is an amazing outtake, could have been a classic if they finished that, now we just have a little snippet.
