His voice is awful and annoying, in my opinion. They're playing Liverpool the day before my birthday and I have a feeling the Mrs is going to get tickets as there's posters all over the place for them.

A group of us are going to see a tribute here in Leicester tomorrow night called Wrong Jovi. Not sure what they are like and not usually really into tribute bands, but tickets were cheap and it should be a laugh if nothing else.

Here here, don't often comment on here. Band sound good, he looks the part but his singing is woeful. He's also a bit of a letch (I know people that know him) so keep an eye on your Mrs if your going as anything is fair game!!

It's a cover band and not a tribute, but I saw "These Days" once years ago and really enjoyed it. Sadly the band is on a hiatus because they suffered a very serious accident on the road (literally on the road, returning home from a concert). Phil X recorded them a nice video:

There's one called " BOB JOVI" , absolutely brilliant ! .... All they do is play the songs....the lead singer isn't trying to look look like jon or copys his every move or every adlib like the BJE, i just find it so cringeworthy if im honest

They are well worth checking out , the best iv come across !

This was actuall pretty fun. Band was decent, but really does make you appreciate how good the guys were back in their prime. They were all dressed up as their respecive band members, These Days era mostly (Jon, Richie, David, Tico and Hugh) and did the respective stage moves, which was cringeworthy but entertaining at the same time. David Bryan's wig made him look like a blond Sideshow Bob!

They are obviously fans as the versions performed were the same as they way the real band play them live with the endings, breakdowns and intros etc, they even did the Time Machine thing before Runaway. The setlist was basically Cross Road minus Blaze, In&Out, & Never Say Goodbye, plus Born To Be My Baby. Then only Something For The Pain, It's My Life, Have A Nice Day and Born To Follow from later albums. Born To Follow was the only song that went over like a led balloon, a lot of the crowd just didn't seem to know it.

Seen them twice. Really good. The guitarist is superb

Seems to be tribute band weekend. Went to see Bounce last night on their "Have A Nice Day tour" (realizing this album is turning 20 this year kinda made me feel old). Their singer has left most of his voice issues from last summer behind and sounded really nice. Of course, you don't sing like in your mid-20s anymore with 43, but considering that Jon gave us TLFR versions of great songs at this age, I was happy with Always, Bed Of Roses, IBTFY (including the key change like on the album) and the full high notes/screams in Runaway and Prayer and that all in the original key.
Their setlist had a lot of HAND stuff including the title track, Who Says, Last Man Standing, Unbreakable and Dirty Little Secret. Highlights of the night for me were an acoustic medley of I Want To Be Loved and Lie To Me (worked really well), Fields of Fire and This Ain't A Love Song.
Overall, their sound has gotten a lot more defined and their gear (in terms of amps etc.) is also better than in earlier years. Especially nice is that the guitarist has made major steps forward and sometimes starts to steal the show - the Wembley-like three-minute guitar intro to Wanted was epic and I was pleasantly surprised to see it get such a feedback from "random fans".
