Just stumbled across SOMA (I think due to a post here somewhere, but can't seem to find it again). About the best I've heard so far, especially IBTFY, though their singer tends to overdue the "metal" aspect of the singing (don't know how to explain it better) as well, if not as much as Oli from Bounce...

SOMA is a great tribute act! Olli has cut back on that metal aspect in the recent year or so since he had some vocal problems and now sings more "soft" than in previous days which fits the songs better.

On a side note:

That looks like a lot of fun! But did they do it before already or do they screen it there or how come it's in December but there's already footage of it?

And I didn't neccesarily mean rasp or anything, just the kind of pronounciation/accent someone uses. Though Oli did sound better in this clip than before on that aspect...

They've done it (in a similar way) twice before. In Bochum in 2014:

And in Wuppertal in 2016:

This is the final one since they have to invest a lot of time in arranging a full set to fit with a 50+ piece orchestra and they don't want to wear it out. So they've decided to do one big final show in this style and then put it to rest

Ah, too bad, I can't attend. Since you seem to have contact with them, could you pass a request on to them? Come to the northern part of Germany, especially Berlin would be nice

The US Slippery When Wet (as featured on the two JBJ cruises in 2019) are absolutely awesome - the guy playing the role of Jon is spot on with his moves and mannerisms:

Yeah, nice movements. But I always find it laughable when tribute bands try to seriously look like the original. I rather enjoy a well done musical cover than look-a-likes with restricted musical abilities.
