Lyrically "Thank You For Loving Me" would be the best. Although, I've been thinking about my wedding and thinking that maybe "All About Loving You" would be a good song to.

Even worse than "Always" or "Bed of ROses" would be "Lie to Me". Great song, just not for a wedding. LOL

I'd probably go for Diamond Ring, Never say goodbye or You had me from hello. What I'd like to do is have a waltz version of Diamond ring done, and use that as my wedding waltz.

(Well, my bf wants to have the Star Wars tune playing when we walk down the aisle in the church instead of the Mendehlsson wedding march... )

(Cultural note: In Finland, usually the wedding goes so that first you get married in a church, then go to a place afterwards, there's dinner, some program, maybe speeches and games, and then there's dancing, the bride and groom start the first waltz, and for the rest of your life you think of that as your song. )

I'd toss a coin between Always and Thank you for Loving Me.

I think 'In It For Love' would make a great wedding song.

With the exception of TYFLM and AALY, most of the other BJ ballads are about a love lost [ie: Always, I Want You, IBTFY].
Richie's All That Really Matters is awesome as a wedding song. A former work mate of mine was looking for a song to play at her wedding and just couldn't find what she wanted. [she wanted to try and avoid the standard stuff because she felt they'd been done to death].
Anyway, I told her I had something she should hear so the next time we were on the same shift [both nurses] I bought in Undiscovered Soul. She fell for All That Really Matters straight up.
At the wedding a few months later the song was played in the church and everyone there asked who was singing it. My husband and I were at the wedding and saw some of her rellies crying when the song was played.
It sounded so spine tingling hearing it in the granduer of an old church. Several guests at the reception asked her about it and she pointed me out to them so they could ask about the singer and the song.
[When she got back from her honeymoon she told me that heaps of her friends went out and bought Undiscovered Soul based on the strength of that one song...and LOVED the entire album.]

There are some great songs out there but for me, ATRM says it all better than any song I've heard in a long time.

Cheers,
S.

We had Thank You For Loving Me as our bridal waltz....it was very beautiful and very powerful.

Also, when we entered the reception, the DJ (a friend of mine who knows my BJ addiction) chucked on Richie's In It For Love, another top wedding tune.

Throughout the nite various BJ got played including Diamond Ring!
