THE essential Happy Now performance:

Looking at those performances of HAND, Happy Now and Love's The Only Rule from 2010 makes me realise that Jon still had range back then.


Love the way he says at 0:24 "So take those old records off the shelf" with that raspy voice and it isn't easy to do either and the whole performance is freaking great.

Wow - he sounds almost like the 90s Jon on the performance! None of the nasally voice!

I've always liked this song, and even though a lot of people see the first leg of the HAND tour in a bad light, I love watching the energetic performances they gave during it. It was like watching watching a renewed love of performing from the band. The album selling well may have had something to do with that....
