i went for i'll be there for you cause for me it's got the best lyrics of the bj ballads- the words "i'll be there for you" are to me more important regarding a relationship than the trashy "i will love you- always" cause this is easily said and it has been heard and said a thousand times (not the song- the words) and hardly any1 really meant it. "i'll be there for you" expresses to me the desire of really wanting to be together with a person and it comforts me more than "i love you" cause it's said most of the times at the beginning of a relationship and hardly anyone really loves the person to whom she/he says that- she/he is in love with the person which is a big difference cause the being in love thing makes one blind (though it's a wonderful feeling btw
 ) but it only lasts till the first big booms and bangs in a relationship- after the first "fights" which naturally come in every relation ship- it decides whether the 2 depart or stick together and can really talk about love- and then- if they do not go their own ways they still can't promise that they'll love each other forever and a day but they can promise that they will be there for each other as long as their relationship lasts and maybe even longer! (yes- in fact there are couples which broke after quite a long time but the two still are best friends and they are there for each other as good as they can! *ggg*)btw: i hope you english speakers distinguish between "to love somebody" and "to be in love with somebody" cause the german-speakers do- otherwise you may think i'm a loony [/i]
