Not all, but probably most of the people on this board. I find most everything on These Days compelling, but one line especially so:

Album wise, I think Faith has the most well rounded set of lyrics.

We also agree that the 90's were top, the 80's were good and the 00's were crap. I'm not making this up....

"shot through the heart and your to blame, you give love a bad name" - this is pure genius. it's just perfect. "angel smiles is what you sell, you promised me heaven, then put me through hell" ..."a schoolboy's dream, you act so shy, your very first kiss was your first kiss goodbye" - bad name is the perfect sing along song, nothing matches it.

I also think that Blaze of Glory is simply amazing. From the 90s, loads and loads...I can't even name all of them...overall I think These Days the song, also loads of songs from Undiscovered Soul...Harlem Rain, Who I Am...also Destination Anywhere is brilliant lyric-wise...ahh well...

My favorite single line used to be: "As I dream about movies they won't make of me when I'm dead" - it such a powerful lyric from Bed of Roses.

Wanted is their best imo, and not just for the lyrics.

And Dry County has this irresistible verse:

"I cursed the sky to open
I begged the clouds for rain
I prayed to God for water
For this burning in my veins
It was like my soul's on fire
And I had to watch the flames
All my dreams went up in ashes
And my future blew away"

Am I the only one who loves the lyrics of Let It Rock?

The Blaze album has great lyrics all over, like all solo albums when you think of it.
