Default Best Opener- Happy Now?

I've probably left something out but these have been the opening songs so far:

Raise Your Hands
Blood On Blood
Happy Now
Just Older
Last Man Standing
Who Says You Can't Go Home

Does anyone else agree that Happy Now has been the best opener for TC tour so far? I've only seen it on youtube and even then it made me like the song so much more. I think it's got a powerful intro and most importantly shows the band have pride in their new album and they are not a "nostalgia" band which they claim to not be. I'd love to see Happy Now more often as an opener or any other TC track.

'Last Man Standing', 'Just Older' and 'Who Says You Can't Go Home' have also opened a show during this tour.

Personally, I believe 'Last Man Standing' or 'Raise Your Hands' are the only worthy openers from them all.

There were at least 2 more openers:

Last Man Standing (Mohegan Sun 2 and Saratoga Springs)
Who Says You Can't Go Home (Meadowlands 3)

I can't remember if there were more, but I saw the 3 you mentioned and the 2 I added. I didn't care for RYH and WSYCGH in the opening spot, but I was fine with the rest. Since I wasn't around for the HAND tour, getting to see LMS in that spot was great for me. I am surprised they didn't open with Happy Now more than they did once they found that it worked as an opener. Blood on Blood is such a great song, but it does bring up that whole nostalgia issue, and we know JBJ doesn't want to go there.

EDIT - I forgot about Just Older on Jon's birthday.

thanks terri just edited my original post.

Here's a vid from the O2. I adore this song because of seeing it opening live. I wish they'd do it more often.

I think their best opener is one they haven't done this tour yet. One Wild Night, that would be. They probably won't do it as an opener again, but it just kicked ass as one. Lay Your Hands On Me works pretty well as does Prayer.

But in terms of this tour, I think Last Man Standing is the best one. Blood on Blood is an awesome song, but it wouldn't kill them if they didn't play it nearly every night, or at least put it in a different spot. It is nice that they do switch up the openers, though.

You're right - night 2. It seems to me that we did a considerable amount of bitching about it, too. LOL How could I forget?

How did I forget 'Lost Highway'?!?

That's the best opener and should open every single show. Yes, I am serious.

I still thought it was brilliant that they opened with Last Man Standing at the first show after Jon got hurt. We'd joked about it (of course), but I never thought they'd really do it!

I love Last Man Standing. It is a song that I think is better live than on the album. The best live version I've found yet is the one on the HAND Special Edition. There are a few diamonds in the rough on those SE albums.
