I was being serious. In my opinion, it's a record with a lot of interesting musical ideas, not just simple chords or some intro melody if we're lucky or a decent riff if we're really lucky.

I'm not particularly fond of the drum machine or the effects either, I do hate Wanted, and think they could've chosen the songs more carefully. But overall I think they did a great job. At least it doesn't get boring halfway through as all the other post-2000 releases do.

And I'm really happy they didn't just take the songs and played them the way they are but with acoustic instruments. We heard half of them like that already anyways, and that's not a really good way to make a song acoustic. See WWBTF. It's slower than the original but that's it. It really isn't anything different.

As I think about it, I do like Crush too. But I guess I'll stick with my original choice. TLFR that is. Seriously.

But you can take better examples like BTBMB or Wanted or Prayer..

Oh, great signature BTW, nice to see another Radiohead fan. "Lucky" you

Alright, that's true. So correction. It isn't always a good idea to just take a song and do it as is with acoustic instruments. It's not mandatory to competely rework the song either. I very much like the rasta version of KTF for example.

But some reworking was necessary here in my opinion, as we knew acoustic versions of most of the songs already, and it would have made no sense to release another studio album with those versions. If it would've been a live album, that would've been OK. But a studio album would have been pointless. So I'm quite happy with their decission and with the outcome too.

Hello to you too, fellow radiohead fan!
