I've got to agree with Cold Hard Heart. That song is the equivalent of someone ripping your heart out of your chest and stomping on it. Both the lyrics and the way Jon conveys them are powerfully emotional.

Default Sad Songs
Does Something to Believe In count? I really like that one...it's a really powerful song and rather depressing lyrically. Lie to Me is also a very good song. I really haven't ever thought about this, but if I was to pick, I think Something to Believe in takes the cake.
