Doing a top 5 will a lot voters with 15 pts (5+4+3+2+1 = 15)... so you can use those 15pts on a top ten if you want... It means just less points for individual songs if you really want them to make it into the top 10 for the poll. Does that sound good? I am new to this...

4. Keep The Faith: the ultimate declaration of hope, not an inch naive

3. You Give Love A Bad Name: Conveniently melodramatic yet tongue in cheek. I think the lyrics to Bad Name are absolutely outstanding. I canīt see the cliche in them.

2. Last Man Standing

1. Letting You Go: the ultimate downer lyric.

Maybe Someday is certainly one I considered... almost made my list. Fantastic lyrics. But the other's are various degrees of okay-good. Nothing on the boxset compares to Bed of Roses or These Days lyrics IMO.

I do believe that after These Days, the quality of the lyrics Jon and Richie were writing started to decline.
