Default Best song of the 80's

I apologize if this has been covered before but on VH-1 they had another top 100 list as voted by fans and writers.
I am proud to say that Living on a Prayer was # 1:

Here are the top 3.
Hungry Like the Wolf # 3
Pour some Sugar on Me # 2
Living on a Prayer # 1

Erm, why the hell not??

IMO it should be in other bands discussion, only should be here if you assume everyone (or the majority) is having a BJ song as best 80's one....
But even then, it isn't going particular about BJ but 80's musician in general...

This thread is about the VH1 Countdown where Prayer was voted the best 80s song

How is that not BJ related?

well its not that difficult. This question goes about ANY song. It become very clear when you TRY READING the very first post. The poster ONLY says Prayer has become nr1 but then again asks for everybode's top? and only name a BJ song as it's 3rd choice, seems clear enough to me.

Because Prayer was chosed nr1, that doesnt mean another BJ song is again NR1 when asking on this board now would it?

try reading first please...

Um, Born to Run was released in 1975, so that doesn't really qualify...

But the original poster isn't asking people what their top 80s songs are, they're just reporting what VH1s top 3 were ....
