why not include Richie on the list? he has also the powerful voice of a true singer/rocker...have you heard his live performance on "little help from my friends" wat a voice of a rocker that was!

So ...

Freddie is Great ...
So I think that the point is JBJ, FM and Steven ...
Jon were in his best form in 90 to 94 ... When he got Singing Classes ...
He was Amazing at that time ...
Ao Of Course he Could Sing With A Little help From My Friends, Help, And some others Vocal Songs ... With his drugs and his cigarretes, he can't sing near far what he did in the past ...
Steven Is The same ... Pretty Same ...

Axl Sucks, James have nothing Special, Mick Talk As He Sing, And Beatles, The Darkness and the others don't deserve a comment ...

you guys really dig your karaoke in your part of the globe don't you?

I'm actually pretty good at suspicious minds cause it's about one of the only songs I can sing decently and take the focus away from my vocal inabilities by dancing but things get bad when people try to get me to go back up again and I can';t sing anything else.

I didn't vote. I can't compare those vocalists against one another. To me they are all just a little too different to compare and they each suit the music they perform and the bands they front.

KTF!

I think there are certainly quite a few better singers than Jon if you only listen to whether he hits all the notes, whether he can sing both very high and very deep without screaming etc. If I made my choice this way, I'd probably go for Freddie Mercury (among those in the list).

But the reason why Jon is a very good singer in my eyes/ears is rather the way he can get the music to the audience. When I listen to a BJ song that I don't know yet I often don't understand more than 10-20 of the words Jon sings, but still I understand the song's meaning. It's like a movie in my head, or just some feelings that are evoked by the way Jon sings, by all those nuances that distinguish his singing from thousands of other singers with voices that are as good as his. ^^
Bon Jovi's music would maybe be half as (technically) good if they didn't have Richie - and also the other members of the band. But there's only a few bands that can reach their level as a live performing band, and I believe this is because of Jon. -Although, admittedly, you can hear that he's getting old... yet I don't think he sang sooo great in the 80s, at that time he was rather one of the screamers, too. I've got a recording of a live performance in '87 and was both surprised at how high he could sing properly at that time and at how the hell he's still got a voice today, after years of singing like that. *lol*

So I agree with this:

That's just not funny...

Anyway, as much as I love Bon Jovi.. Freddie will always win for me. Freddie's voice was amazing, he had an incredible range, even to the end. It is amazing listening to their last album, with Freddie dying and still his voice was perfect.
