Better video of MAM at CMT Awards

good video, good song but i dont think the harmony between richie and jon was that good,

sad to hear about Richies father tho, cancer sucks!

I just finished capturing it and that's exactly what I thought. I haven't check times yet though - that's just the way it came across to me.

After people were crying over the peformance last night, I assumed it was gonna be bad, but honestly I don't see what the fuss is over. Yes, Jon definetly seems a little... stiff? at the start (staring repeatedly at his guitar), but he gets better by the time Richie enters, and there's no doubt Jon's voice is in very good form.

People were complaining that the audience looked bored. I don't see that at all. Besides, what do you expect from a song like this, people jumping up and down like it's IML or something?

I thought they got a pretty good reception for a country crowd.

I was actually IN the crowd and have to say that it really wasn't received very well. I think they were just expecting something else from them. The actual comments from the guys beside us were "well, that was lame". I felt bad for the band. Of course, we had no idea what all was going on with Richie's dad at the time either.

I was also at the Cannery show and thought that performance was A LOT better. I'm hoping they can pull off a better performance for AI.

What I read on the wire sounded pretty positive about it. My friend who is very much into country loves the song. I think it's got a lot of legs.

Well I was expecting worse after all the comments on here. That wasn't half bad, actually it was pretty good. But yes I do see the nervouse Jon at the beggining.
