BIG ISSUE Interview Mag
JBJ is on the front cover of street mag The Big Issue, this mag is sold on the streets by homeless people so its good to see Jon ok'd this interview . 3 page interview mainly made up of 2 large photos from LH album shots.
Interview is a good one entitled countrylife at Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank NJ with JBJ sipping Ice tea on the deck dressed in jeans and blazer declaring the woods between that big house on the corner and the other treees pointing acroos the river towards Middletown is all mine. He has a habit of inhaling deeply through his nose before answering a question.
There are paragraphs reflecting on BJ past career ' LH wasnt a stretch the lines between country and rock have become blurred recently'.
He talks of his mother beating him over the head with Patsy Cline when he was a Kid, in the 80s he met Jonny Cash whose son was a fan of SWW. Jon wouldnt say he was a fan of country before thsi record. He says the sense of urgency of making the record is becuase David and Richie needed to make a record with what they had been through.
He mentions more on family usual stuff and he had considers living in London but soccer isnt AMercian football !
Discusses Homes for Humanity saying he wants to see results all you need is money to make houses, he got involved with them after reading a book on AMerican History and seeing a guy sleeping on in front of city hall and thought is this what jefferson and Franklin wanted.
He talks about having tax subsidy for keeping farm animals on land in NJ and a pause and twinkle in his eyes says Ive had a few cows on my property !
Speaking of age when u hit 40 what have you accomplished and left your mark , your legacy.
His true legacy will surely be Bon Jovi, their still going strong.
