140 million in the us really isn't that much. Bon Jovi sold 100, so 40 million more for the best and most influential band ever, is not that much.

(Ahhh - I just called the Beatles the best band ever on the Bon Jovi message board. They're gonna spearhead me.)

Jovi rules.

Yes, the Eagles are high on the list, as is Elvis Presley. They are all in the top 10. Feel free to read the actual figures for the US ONLY on riaa.com. You just follow the top sellers link, or whatever it is called. It will tell you the top artists and the number of units that they have sold. Yes, Michael Jackson is the highest selling solo performer in the world, and Thriller has sold (just about 50 million) (it's in the Guiness book of world records.) You can search the rest of my facts there as well. I have no reason to lie...

Anybody questioning 1 billion beatles records sold, look in your parents or your collections. I bet most or all of your family have a considerably high number of records or tapes or cd's by them.

As well, the Beatles have had around 40 years to make this milestone, without seeing their popularity dwindle. Is it really that hard to believe?

:P
