Dave's supergroup TCV (Them Crooked Vultures) is awesome. They are gonna be on Sat Night Live this Saturday - check 'em out. John Paul Jones (Zeppelin) is the bassist.

Ugh, I had no idea! Thanks for the heads up!

I'm EXACTLY the same. Even if it's a song I can't stand, gotta stay and listen to it, no toilet/beer break for me. If I left during 'Bells Of Freedom' at Bon Jovi, I may never have gone back to the song on the album

That's exactly why! You never know when a performance of a song may change everything you thought about it and have you running back to the album. While I didn't hate Misunderstood, it was a surprising highlight from the Staples show back then.

Maybe it's the nosebleed thing, but I've never been to a concert where people weren't lighting up, no matter who the artist was. One of the worst was actually a Bruce show in '08.

Spectacular show, energy-wise.

Dope at a Bruce show?......Horrors

Breathe deep Brian

Now that I think about it - I was at that show - and in the nosebleeds too. I recorded from there.

HaHaHaha, well compared to the Blink-182 shows I go to,..
And honestly, the Bruce show was more of a horror story because the guy was an asshole, and started basically molesting one of my friends.

I still consider seats at a rock concert as something very lame. I mean, if you want to sit, you can go to terraces. GA should be for standing. Look at the MSG show - it is terrible how it looks - people in rows and lines, free corridors. That's not rock'n'roll. I understand, that it is comfortable that you have your place and nobody else should stand there but those seats would get under my feet during a rock concert.

Just my opinion. I think Europeans would agree with me. I still hope that their stadium gigs won't have the seats, it enough in arenas, like O2.

Americans need a bigger private zone, if they can't get it they just won't go to the show, hence the reason why there are so many seats at any rock show. Europeans enjoy being together as one big crowd while an American crowd is based upon individuals visiting a concert.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
